I would charge 75% of your full hour rate. You are spending the same amount of time driving to and from the appointment, the same amount on your incall, the same amount of time bathing, shaving, dressing and primping, the same amount on lingerie, the same amount cleaning and prepping the incall for before and after. And since it's likely one bell, and most of your older guys do one bell anyway in an hour, you're probably putting in around 2/3 of the actual "action time" if you figure that an hour guy usually wants a rest in between. And actually, hour guys often spend a large portion of the session trying to please you, whereas in a 1/2 hour session, there is no time for that. I think charging anything less than 75% of your full hour rate is shorting yourself.

Very good thread. From a marketing standpoint, it's all about showing a mentally significant difference from your "anchor" price (in this business, your hour rate.) Customers often associate value with the anchor rate.

I'd suggest setting your half-hour rate as half your hourly rate, plus $20. So if you're at $200/hr, your half hour rate is $120.

The 45-minute rate would fall somewhere between. In addition, you might consider a non-FS half hour rate, for those guys who don't want FS.

So your final rate sheet could look something like this:

1 hour $200
45 min $160
30 min $120
30 min (non-FS) $100

What you've now done is broadened your appeal without having to offer any specials, and without having to discount your hour session. Isn't marketing great?

we are idiots do not get too complicated.
a question about the 30/45.. is it only 1 shot. from what I hear there
are persons on here who can reload in less then 1/2 hour. do they
get additonal shots?

I am not sure on the provider side of the hobby, but if you have an incall place,
or hotel, after reading Sophia post, is the cleanup still the same for 1/2 vs. 3/4 vs. 1 hr?The refresh rate should be the same for all sessions. If you book a hotel, do you do it for individual? if you have 3 hobby members scheduled would you not use the same room 3x, say for 1 hr each, scheduled at 2, 4, 6. time for cleanup, refresh and relax?

I guess what I am asking, is if cleanup/refresh is a consistant charge, why
charge75%? why not 60%. you get more, and since Sophia says most are 1 shot and gone, the profit margin is increased with out charging 755, charge 60-65% sounds like a better deal, but you should still work out to the better.

for myself each client i get a new room and yes it is a hotel, my thoughts is why would a client want to use the same room I just got done with so there is a consistent charge when it comes to that and of course msog is always encouraged

Blowpop I like how you think, I've already set my 30 and 45 min rate and so far I've gotten a great response to it, but I also like your idea of a non fs rate if I chose to that what rates would be expected then for example my 30 min are set at 140 since my reg is 220 an hr, should I just knock off say 20-30?

Cost of doing business. Your not shaving after every apt or buying new lingerie for every apt. And good hygiene should not be billable. Most people go to work clean.
