That's why Toth left New York, to get away from the punk ass bitch boys.

Dude, either your pulling a con, or you are the most delusional MoFo on this board. Toth left New York because New Yorkers are smart enough to see through his foolish grandstanding and he apparently found a home in Texas, where his nonsense seems to resonate among the hicks and kooks.

Now I know you won't believe this, and I am certain you won't do the research to see for yourself, but the "rights" you believe in don't exist, at least not in the form you want them to exist. The federal government has always had the right to regulate the sale and transfer of fire arms but the manner and method has changed over the years.

IF YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH OUR BIBLES OR OUR GUNS THEN GROW A SET BALLS AND COME TRY AND TAKE EITHER ONE OF THEM FROM US!!!

I don't know how bibles are linked to guns (there aren't any guns in the bible) but it is nice to hear from a bible-reading whore monger who is such a brave man that he is willing to mount the ramparts of the internet and toss challenges to who knows whom to come to Texas and take his bible and guns. I've heard of beer muscles before, but you,my three peckered friend, seem to be fueled by a virulent form of digital bravado that really makes you seem foolish.

But none of you will, because you are fucking pussys.
Naw, the form of a person's genitalia had nothing to do with this. It has to do with being a rational person who knows not to stoop to the level of people who think that insults, threats of violence and cowardly rants are a substitute for clear thinking and open debate.

I say again, if you dont like us, then get the fuck out!! We will not be "fundamentally transformed".
Of course, we could always say the same thing to you -- if you don't like the way the country is being run, get the fuck out!!

Personally,, I outgrew such statements in junior high school. Time to grow up and realize that different people are going to have different opinions on different subjects.

Never said had pussys. I said were a pussys.

And I NEVER made a threat of violence. And calling a pussy a pussy isn't an insult. And there will be NO debate over taking our guns!!!

I will repeat, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH OUR BIBLES OR OUR GUNS THAN GROW A SET OF BALLS AND COME AND TRY AND TAKE EITHER ONE OF THEM!!!

But none of you will, because you are fucking pussys!

You will do nothing but sit there and piss and moan. And I will sit here with my rights intact.

You missed the other obvious option: if you don't like it, work to change it. Idiots have no more right to any state than sane people.

"Change" is the bailywick of O'Blunder's and his libtard minions. That's exactly why we're in the shape we're in. While certainly without flaws, this is the greatest nation in history. To fundamentally change that threatens everything that made it great in the first place.

Change is neither inherently good nor bad.

We "changed" the country with the Louisianna purchace, ending slavery, and giving the vote to more than land owning white males. Those were fundamental changes--did they automaticly ruin our country?

Whether we like it or not, the universe changes around us as well. The oceans were originally this huge defensive wall that allowed us to be isolationist and focus almost exclusively inward on Nort America. With the airplane those walls fell and isolationism is not an option.

The internal combustion engine fundamentally changed the family structure as we know it and turned us from a rural country to an urban one--and we haven't figured out what all the implications of that are 100+ years later.

So I refuse to accept that change--even fundamenta change--is inherently bad. I also refuse to accept that relatively minor changes in how we apply fundamental beliefs is automaticly bad; for example I see nothing evil about gun registration or background checks on all sales. I would be seriously opposed to restrictions on legal gun ownership, but am open to serious discussion about which weapons fall on which side of the line.

This is not 1776, nor is it the Texas republic, nor is it the Lincoln County range war. Some things are worth conserving, others are not. Absolutism in either direction is dangerous.

For all you Holder/Perry haters:

"There is evil prowling in the world it shows up in our movies, video games and online fascinations, and finds its way into vulnerable hearts and minds,"

"...our young people...they are saturated in the media and in entertainment with violence and i think too many of our young people and in particular our young men are fascinated by violence and in particular are fascinated by guns and what we need to do is to change the way in which people think about guns especially young people and make it something which is not cool, not acceptable, not hip to carry a gun any more."

One quote is from Perry, one quote is from Holder.

Some mishtake shurely?

The only disagreement may be in the last phrase of the Holder quote, but my take on that is that Holder had in mind the illegal carrying of guns - I may be wrong, but in context he was talking about young men fascinated by violence.

Is that because of Perry or because of the counter cyclical oil boom? The oil business, of which houston is the world centre, has been booming for some time.

BTW, in my part of Texas (Houston) I get the impression that the vast majority of, at least professional, people are not originally from Texas. Vietnam, China, UK, Mexico, Venezuela, Columbia, India, Malaysia, France, Colorado, California, Canada - but not Texas.

Texas is a melting pot; assimilation works here...

The liberal capitals of Amerika (New York, Michigan, California, DC, etc), pray at the alter of multiculturalism.....they hate western civilization and want to destroy it's institutions....multiculturali sm is their weapon of choice. They hate the idea of assimilation.

Damn, does that mean I'm half Texan, if I live half my life here?

My kids certainly think I've gone over to the other side.

I think I'll go for an assimilation walk in the park, it's a lovely day, and the haters didn't like my multicultural walks in the park.

I agree with some of what you're saying. However, your examples are non sequiturs. All the things you mentioned occured in the formative stages of our development as a nation. Additionally, all of those occurences expanded individual rights in some way, adding to our individual pursuit of freedoms. The change happening now will not do that.

Progressives are insatiable. They will never stop trying, on an indremental basis, to change this country into something it was never intended to be. If we dont stand up to it today, how will we explain to our children what happened??
