I liked my first grade teacher, also. However, I figured out how to get promoted from first grade and move on with life. You should try it - it has to be embarrassing your mother by now after her son has been in first grade emotionally as well as physically for 50 years, even as slow as she is intellectually.

Karl Rove is the working definition of a scumbag. He never met a moral he liked or a lie that was too sleazy for him to speak. I don't know that I have ever met a person that makes you feel that dirty just by his presence in the room.
I think a lot of what people blame Bush-2 for is because he listened far too much to Rove.
