Bush left office with the USA in the largest recession since the Great Depression. I don't think it was that bad, the response to it made it worse. I guess you would let GM,Chysler, AIG, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and All the banks that went bankrupt tradeing unregulated securities, stay bankrupt. YES! You would prefer that we have 50 million with no jobs and no health care? Non sequitur. That wouldn't have happened. That is what the Tea Party wanted. Really? Link? I don't like the Tea Party, but I doubt that. That would have been the wrong move. No. Sound fiscal and monetary policy are NEVER the wrong move. The bailouts were the right thing to do. Bullshit. No one bails out the little guys. Only the big boys with campaign donations get bailed out. The markets are stablized, the banks are stablized and the economy is growing again and the unemployment rate is going down. You really did drink the kool aid, didn't you? If the stimulus was such a bad idea as stated by Michelle Bachman, why did she try to borrow from it 16 times for her district? Bachman is an idiot. You should stick to trying cases.

Sorry, Fluffy. Your arguments were so stupid, I had pitch in. Carry on, JL.

So what does that say about Bush. By percentage he was spending more than Obama is now and all the market did during his administration was tank.

Their ( donkey leadership ) support was based on the Bush admin spinning intel to suit their view that Saddam needed to be taken out. Bush cherry picked info....not that he lied, he cherry picked info and did not present the counter view that would have led some to conclude that the Iraq war was not needed, like Bush kept saying it was.
So nice try for you to try and cover Bush's distortion.

BTW, did you support the Bush Administration's decision to invade Iraq during the spring of 2003? If so, you and your fellow Neo-Cons are to blame!

COF, Leave my mom out of this. You stupid Fu%&K. Like you don't see escorts? Or are your reviews made up, you dumb s%!T. Where did you get your degree in economics from? Right, you don't have one. The employee's on the assembly line at GM and Chysler I am sure would rather be working than in an unemployment office, trying to find another job that does not exist. It's not just GM and Chysler, you got the parts business, tires the whole industry would have collapsed. When they closed the Chysler plant in Janesville, Wisc the entire town shut down. As for Wall street loseing all of their money tradeing unregulated products, it was more than just AIG, Lehman Brothers, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley and the Banks(Bank of America, CityGroup, Chase Bank, Wells Fargo) and banks you never heard of were failing every other week in 4th quarter 2008. We have 30 million americans with no health insurance right now, you don't think this number would go up if you let all of these businesses stay bankrupt. If you did not bail out the banks and you had more money in their than what is protected by FDIC, then you lose, you dumb sh$it. You are right Michelle Bachman is an idiot and so are you! When you get your degree in economics, then come back and talk to me. You love Ron Paul, the republicans have tuned him out a long time ago!!!!!!!!!!. No one cares about going back to the gold standard and this includes the conservatives. It is common knowledge that the TEA Party was against the bailouts, go find your own link. Last thing it was idiot lawyer who brought up the FAG issue. I do think that marriage should be between a man and a woman. They should have left don't ask don't tell alone in the armed services. I don't care what people do in their personal life. This issue does not belong in this thread, but idiot lawyer gets his cases mixed up.

In other words, you got nothin'. Nothin' at all. Thanks for playing, Fluffy!
Actually, I taught Economics at the university level for awhile, Fluffy.
Sounds like you're having a bad night. Try some Ovaltine.

StupidOld LyingFart playing the lame ass "you got nothin'. Nothin' at all" card for the thousandth time on these pages. Everytime he is stumped and does not know what to say, he plays that worn out card again.
He should because if anybody's "got nothin'. Nothin' at all," it is SOLF. He's proved it over 19,000 times on this board alone! He's merely preachin' to his own choir!
As for him teaching Economics at the University level, he was once asked by JD to share a little of his "nothin'. Nothin' at all, Economic knowledge to a group of "drop out" Custodian's at a "university level" institution of lower learnin' in Okiefukin'homa!

Will you jackasses get over it. FDR lost hundreds of thousands of Americans, JFK, LBJ, and Nixon lost 58,000, Lincoln lost over a million Americans (both sides). War is war. Benghazi was not war and the border is not war (maybe it should be). Of course we could just go after democrats in general. How many Americans have been lost in Chicago under democrats? or New York City? Washington DC, New Orleans, Boston, Philidelphia, Los Angeles, etc. Think of it this way, the vast majority of gun deaths in this country (which you harp about) occurred inside of democratically controlled cities. Care to explain?
