That is about as succinct a summation of Rush Limbaugh's character and I've ever heard.

His sponsors were holding their nose and going along with the bullshit show only because he had an audience they could sell to, but they are abandoning him in droves after the Fluke incident.

If Rush loses his spot to Huckabee in market oriented competition, that's fine. That's what freedom is about. If people buy into the phony hysteria about his remarks, and boot him, that's fine too. If the government forces him off the air, that is NOT good. (I don't think that has been an issue this time, however.)

I can't imagine Huckabee taking away much of Rush's audience, but we will see. I don't care for either one, but if I was forced to listen to one or the other, I'd rather listen to Rush. Huckabee is too evangelical Christian for me. But I will likely have my Brian Setzer CD in the player anyway.

One think I like about Rush - he pisses off all the people I like to see pissed off. He doesn't piss me off, he simply bores me, and I think he is just as much a part of the MSM as anyone else.

Liking to piss people off for the hell of it is simply not a healthy way to live life, but I doubt you will change your behavior this late in the game.
