Are you referring to the change from the Orangemen (and women)? That's recent, but they picked orange nearly 125 yeas ago. The reasons seem quite lame; they were pink and blue, then a few of them said, "But I don't wanna be pink and blue," and the chancellor said, "well then you can be orange," and then everyone was happy.
