Really? I'm not so sure.
Without trying to over-analyze the motives behind the thread, and I could certainly be wrong, I can't help but wonder if this is more an exercise in passive-aggression than in actual data collection?
I don't know Dani and I'm not trying to play her White Knight, but she claims it was an honest mistake, she says she apologized for that mistake and tried to reschedule for that same day, despite having a lot of personal things going on. I'm not sure what else she was supposed to do.
OSD added, "Once plans fall apart. It is useless to try and recover. If he wanted to still see her, forget that day. Start over week or two later."
Exactly! Learning THAT would be a good step in better preparing yourself as a hobbyist.
If I am buying something at the mall, I don't really care if the kid behind the register is having a bad day, because all they have to do is give me my change.
Hobbying? Well.... that is a different kind of service entirely. In the hobby, you want the provider to be as comfortable, relaxed and stress-free as possible, because that only ensures that you will both have a better and more rewarding experience.
I'm not sure trying to squeeze in a quickie, at half-rate, with a provider who has already told you she is having a bad day, was the best of all possible moves.
The thing is, pillowlips has already seen Dani before and obviously enjoyed their time together, so if had just accepted the apology, said he understood, that there were no hard feelings, cut his losses for the day and asked for another appointment at a more mutually convenient day and time, we'd undoubtedly be reading a glowing review, instead of... ummm.... whatever it is this thread is supposed to be about.
