Carl Sagan was not convinced. He said that extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.
these aliens are not dumb. you think they'll allow videos inside one of their ships???? don't think so.. nor are they that grandiose about landing on the White House lawn.

they appear to have some sort of prime directive going on with this planet. contact appears to be at minimum where possible.

there have been crashes, but its not clear where they crashed at according to a couple of stories I've read.

one took place during the mid-1400, where a fire fight between several UFOs of two types appeared over germany, one or two got shot down near a german village.

another UFO was seen by a gold prospector from the 1800's in either in Dakota region or in Canada (don't remember where. prolly Canada) it flew over him and crashed behind a mountain.,

another more recent one that took place in 1898, that one crashed near a Texas farm, it destroys the water wind mill tower. the wreck were said to have been disposed of into the water well. and the remains buried in a cemetary in a unmarked grave.

MUFON sent a team to check that story out. they got a sample of that water well. They didn't find anything in the water well. assumption was whatever was in the well had corroded to nothing. they did find a high concentration of Aluminum in the water sample they took.

"Paul" was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. If you haven't seen it, take some time and rent it, or find it on Netflix or something.

I went to the theater. We have those in Kansas, you know. In fact, I went several times, and then bought the DVD. (You can play DVD's on your computer, in case you were wondering.)

I still watch programs on my computer, I just don't want to get caught up in all that hype and nonsense like Dancing with the Stars and other intelligence draining programs. I just finished watching all the seasons of 24, and I'm now watching Fringe. That is a cool show.

But I watch when I want, no commercials, and none of the nonsense hype for shit I will never care about. But if I have a TV, I'll watch it. Then I get pissed at myself. This way, I watch what interests me, have time to read books (My Kindle is damn near full) and I have time for the delightful banter that is so plentiful here.

What is miss is being able to watch baseball. I don't really like the MLB.com, so I'm looking for alternatives. And as much as I hate to admit it, I still enjoy watching the Chiefs play, and some hockey. That usually requires I go to a bar somewhere. An awful sacrifice, but I'm willing to make it.

Her name is "Mary" and she plies her trade on Mars -- in 2084!!!

Her real name is Kailyn Leeb. She is a Canadian actress who plays the role of a provider in the recent remake of "Total Recall" . . . and it's a prosthetic (all three of them ).

Why did you have to ruin my fantasy! I was hoping it was a mutation that would be added to the gene pool and over time would become the norm. Obviously three boobs is a desirble trait.
