It appears TWK has deceived the public. Similar to Elizabeth Holmes, guilty on 4 counts. However, legal analyst Jerry Mason reports he did not actually say those things, but only wrote them. The maximum penalty for this is you have to live with yourself.

Case precedent Saed S. Oh vs. Keyser Soze

You know, alot of people here were blaming Biden when the Market was down saying it was his fault.

I don't see where those people are congradulating him for highs.

Always said it: the President has as much in setting the market as he does in controlling the price of gas.

I’m only in plan A. Since I get a fairly large SS check, the 5% is quite a bit more.

The genius outspoken Trumpsters in this forum will probably blame Biden for the recent riots in Kazakhstan because of the rising fuel prices there. Haha

Default America Last!

Under Biden's wise policy-making, Putin gets a pipeline (Nordstrom 2) while ours get cancelled (Keystone XL)!

And new oil & gas leases on federal lands get halted!

But hey... that doesn't affect the cost of gas at the pump, does it?

You left out refusing to issue drilling permits on federal lands and offshore waters. That is, he tried to institute a ban on drilling. Fortunately the courts stepped in and now the federal government is issuing oil and gas leases and drilling permits again.

Or maybe just maybe Putin's estimated net worth of around $70bln with a salary of less than $200K/year has to do with it. Make sense?

You guys are funny. I specifically mentioned Kazakhstan and their riots there in Putin's backyard. Is basic reading comprehension a problem in this forum? LOL

Anyway, to get back to the topic of this thread, the market is still really high. I'm sure many will be taking a lot of their stock profits like I have, and it will lose its momentum a bit; especially with the fed looming. You can't be greedy. You have to know when to pull out at the right time just in case.

If only your dad heeded your advice. There’s a major correction coming. Time your pullout accordingly.

Who cares about the pipeline being halted? The jobs were with the building. After that, the employment dropped to virtually zilch. Not to say what are we to do with the remnants of what's left over from refining (does "sand" not ring a bell from oil sands?) If we could ship back the moreso dirty remains of the refining, maybe.

What's wrong with $5 gallon gas? I've been pushing that for years. Best thing for the State of Texas. Do something about these dam roads. We use to have the best highways in USA. And it'll build OUR infrastructure in Texas. The states economy is tied to the price of gas and the higher it is the better for us. Keep whining.

And that oil on the federal lands and such ain't gonna disappear. So don't worry about it. Better to keep it conserved than used up. We got alot of capped wells in west Texas that can be tapped. And higher oil price encourages using them.

I know my post wasn't a response to what you said about Kazakhstan and I suspect LL's wasn't either. More likely he was replying to Precious_b.

Well, do you want more Canadian crude going to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast via the Keystone XL Pipeline? Or do you want it to go to China and other countries in Asia? Because that's what's happening. The Canadians are now expanding the Trans Mountain pipeline from the oil fields in Alberta to the coast of British Columbia.

Having the Keystone XL pipeline would have been good for our energy security, and for our refiners and refinery workers.

As to federal lands, yes the oil won't disappear, but if the progressives have their way it will stay in the ground forever.

You will recover less oil by placing a long or medium term moratorium on drilling and later removing it. You'd have stranded infrastructure, and some projects like water floods and enhanced oil recovery would never occur in certain fields.

I want more light sweet oil coming from Texas hitting the refinery. If there is someone else who wants to bring their stuff here, so be it. I like our stuff since it practically needs little in the way of removing impurities.

I don't understand why people will yap about wanting cheap prices and than turn around and make themselves dependent on foreign sources of energy. We already have it here. So, don't worry about those refinery workers. As I stated, the Keystone project was temporary for jobs with building. The destination is already in place with manpower.

And i'll bet you that the oil won't stay underground forever on federal lands.

People making mountains out of molehills and willingly putting the foreign noose around their necks to be dependent on outside energy.

We should use up all the oil fast as possible so as to get to the next sustainable energy resource. There are better uses for oil than just putting it in our gas tanks.
