The FBI can find no records related to Trump's assertions that he sent the FBI and the US Attorneys to stop "ballot theft".

The FBI searched its record system in response to a FOI request by a reporter.

Did you (or could you) cite your source?

All I can find are third party sources talking about claims made by Trump but no proof that what they're saying is true.

Take World War I, every country allied with France and Belgium claimed the German were bayoneting babies. Lots of stories about, lots of witnesses (according to the newspapers) but it never happened.
