What was the point behind posting all that stuff, other than to confirm that spending skyrocketed in FY 2009 to a level that was apparently intended by Obama to become a permanently higher plateau, even though much of the increase was politically motivated -- and at the very least should have been considered a one-time deal to get us through the worst of the crisis? We already knew that, and discussed it at length in that earlier thread to which I linked.

I think the reason you won't answer my very simple question is that you realize that Obama has fixed absolutely nothing, and his economic agenda is for all intents and purposes an expanded (in term of spending and additional tax cuts) version of the George W. Bush economic agenda.

For some of you guys, when politicians of the opposing party cram through a politically-motivated, fiscally reckless agenda, you say it's disgraceful and outrageous. (Which, of course, it is.)

The record is quite clear. You attack politicians of only one of our two major dysfunctional political parties, while giving those of the other a pass.
