This is what started the problem in the first place. The media brainwashed people to believe health insurance is hard to find and only the government can help you. Now there is a law that forces you to sign up for mediocre coverage or get fined if you refuse.

What the left wants us to forget is that she HAD coverage until Obamacare kicked her off. Or more precisely, Obamacare made her coverage illegal. That is what they want us to forget.

And the right wants us to ignore the fact that people were getting kicked off their coverage BEFORE Obamacare. And those people were often unable to find another plan.
Just like they want us to ignore the fact that "death panels" have always been a part of the insurance industry.
And rising premiums.
And on and on and on.

Do you mean the "EVIL EMPIRE" Obaminable invited to the White House to explain that THE TAXPAYERS will supplement the losses of the insurance companies if they will ABIDE BY HIS LAW (EXECUTIVE ORDER) and pay the coverage costs for ALL THOSE who SIGN UP LATE and who have not been APPROVED because the WEBSITE IS TRASH and Obaminable's INSURANCE PATROL can't fix it?
Those "insurance companies" ............. ?
News Flash: If the POTUS can't "kick you off" .. the POTUS can't "PUT YOU ON"!
The carriers were biding by the ACA PLUS Obaminable's EXECUTIVE ORDERS.
While you are arguing the validity and value of THE SOLUTION ...
.. If you are entitled to unemployment benefits are you entitled to MEDICAID?

There fixed it for you.
The law books are full of cases (and legislatures provide the relief) against health insurance carriers who have suffered staggering judgments by the denial of coverage by an "death panel." Under ACA one cannot sue the government for a denial of coverage and the ACA provides the "cover" for the private carriers who are complying with the law: The "DEVIL" is in the details.
If the government giveth the government can taketh away.

she wasn't on a government ER subsidy before, according to all the hoorah here she had a policy, and shes not on the subsidy one now, so shes consistent
seems the subsidies just switched places and will become ever worse

We're going to argue semantics again? The insurance companies could no longer sell the policies that so many people had. Why? Since the passage of Obamacare they couldn't. Why? Because Obamacare made them illegal. The original act was the passing of Obamacare by the democratic party only. That is where the fault lies. Why do liberal/progressive/socialists think that people (and that includes companies) are just going to stand by and take it up the ass without complaint like your typical democrat nowadays.

If the dumb bitch goes to the ER and does not have money to pay...the taxpayers will have to pay it for her. That is a subsidy.
That is why if Obama wants people to sign up for health insurance....he should repeal Ronnie Reagan's law forcing ER's to treat people that do not have insurance or have shitty insurance. Problem solved.

You think everything that’s gone wrong is because of big government liberals. But it’s big government conservatives who have (purposefully) created a government that can’t pay for its self.
I’m not just talking about Medicare Part D, which literally wasn’t paid for and overpays for drugs as a giveaway to the pharmaceutical industry. I’m talking about how Ronald Reagan socialized medicine when he signed the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act.
This law MANDATES that all emergency rooms in all hospitals that take federal money serve anyone who comes to that emergency room, regardless of his or her ability to pay. And it offers no funding to achieve this mandate, which raises the cost of health care for everyone who can pay.
Yes. Reagan socialized medicine, in the dumbest possible way. Despite paying more for health care than any democracy on earth, 45,000 people still die each year for a lack of insurance.

first Obama keeps both the insurance subsidy and expanded medicaid AND the emergency room one...so he doubles down (or triples down) on Reagan..yet you blame Reagan
second no one has died for lack of health insurance, perhaps care but not insurance, it is probable that expansion of health insurance in the style of Obama will cause more people to die
and third, obamacare will only expand suffering creating healthcare shortages and long waits and fewer options and remote treatment approval

Yes...had Reagan not done what he done, there would not be this huge problem needing fixing! Do you understand when health care cost started blowing up? After Reagan!
When you make ER's work for free, more people will just not have coverage (Why should they, afterall the ER visit is free!) or some will buy shitty coverage that really does not cover them. That means that the rest of us pay. That is why I am for this tax on folks that do not get decent insurance.
But if you really want to fix health care , you need to repeal the antitrust exemption for the insurance industry.
