WTF is your point?
We should kill all Muslims?
If so, no God damn wonder they are killing our folks. They are believing the shit you say as what we all think...

I agree just because you do not believe in a specific religion or lifestyle does not mean you must critique them. The middle east is alot like a wasp nest safe at first pretty but if you poke it the wasps will attack. They are a lot like how Toby Keith used to describe America.

Excellent thought!
Unfortunately, the ability or willingness to look at things from all angles and viewpoints, especially those that are not John Wayne jingoism, tend to either get ignored or ... well, you'll see (I hope not).

Definitely I'm a moderate...middle of the road, kind of guy
All this pure anti-Muslim, John Wayne talk is nonsense to me.
However, with that said...I beleive the war of terrorism should have started back in the '70's with the initial oil embargo by the Arab nations.
The sooner we purge ourselves of Mid East oil, the sooner we can decrease our dependency and desire to deal with the crazies in that part of the world.
Of course we would need to twist Big Oil Companies arms...now there is a whole different thread

The Society of the Muslim Brothers is the Arab world's most influential and one of the largest Pan-Islamic [multi-national: not merely Egyptian] movements. The Muslim Brotherhood is predominantly anti-Western, and its goal is to “instill the Qur'an and Sunnah as the sole reference point for ...ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community ... and state.’ Its most famous slogan, used worldwide, is ‘Islam is the solution.’”
The Brotherhood's credo was and is, "Allah is our objective; the Quran is our law, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations."
Funny how you Kool-Aid drinking liberals refer to the misogyny implicit in the credo of the Muslim Brotherhood as being representative of “democracy.”

Hey I B...I am not saying, by any means, that I support or approve of the Muslim Bros...not at all..
But, if we are going to support democracy, world wide...we need to understand, the forces that will be voted in by each country's people...may not be the ones we view as "the good guys".
That's how democracy works, my friend!
And to those who say we fail to support the previous Egytpian leadership...sorry pro-democracy fans, the people did not want that...at all.
Remeber how we "supported" the Shah of Iran or the South Viet gov't??? Did not turn out so well.

What didn't work out, was not supporting the Shah of Iran. That's what caused the fundamentalists to take over. Jimmy Carter was a fool. He thought the Ayatollah Khomeini was some sort of saintly holy man like Ghandi.
Iran has been the worst terrorist country in the world ever since the Shah was overthrown. Iran is on the verge of going nuclear and has pledged to destroy Israel.
We never should have cut funding for South Vietnam; the Democrats did that. It destroyed any chance, they had of surviving. Democrats are evil.

You're ignoring Odumbo made a choice to not back the pro-Western Mubarak and instead favor the anti-Western bias and misogyny of the Muslim Brotherhood. Any rationale leader could see the win-lose in that situation, but not your boy Odumbo: and you still dare to call the Muslim Brotherhood "democracy in action."

The Muslim Brotherhood believes in Shariah law which essentially prohibits democracy. So the Egyptians have voted in a party that will ultimately will take away their right to vote. These people are crazy. They're voting in favor of not being able to vote anymore.

I think both of you are wrong. they'd be like Iran, Malaysia and Indonesia, but they can vote, but the policy direction would be in the hands of the mullahs/clerics as directed in the Koran and suras. its a democracy based on the Koran. it may not be what we rather they should have; a secular state.

In contemporary parlance "democracy" includes suffrage rights for women.
Egypt's Islamists: Much to prove on women's rights
After the long speech they gave about how Morsi will empower the civil society and that the Muslim Brotherhood will respect human rights including women's rights, a colleague of mine raised his hand to ask a question.
"I saw in your booklet that you respect human rights and women rights according to Sharia," my colleague asked. "Is it different from the rights mentioned in the international conventions that Egypt has signed?"
The answer given by one of the leader of Morsi's campaign was shocking. "Sharia values women more than the international conventions," the Morsi adviser said. "Do you know that according to Sharia the woman may choose not to breastfeed her child or clean the house until her husband pays her for doing this?" he added confidently, to much laughter in the room.
This simple conversation, more than anything, sums up how the Muslim Brotherhood views women's rights and what the status of women is likely to be under its rule. For while it may use the same terminology that we do, its perception of what those terms mean is completely different to that of liberal activists like me. They cannot see a woman outside the biological stereotypes as a mother, child-bearer, and housewife.
On the other side, activists like myself are working to establish women rights and gender equality in social, political, and civic spheres. Actually, they always describe "women's rights" as a western value and used to call it "women's issues." The space provided for women on the Brotherhood's Ikhwan website, for instance, is called "family oasis" and is full of stories about bringing up children, making your husband happy, the proper dress for the woman, and such topics that views women's role exclusively within the family.

I'm pretty sure, if Iran had legitimate elections, the ayatollahs would be voted out. I don't think most Iranians want a theocracy.
