like the article says, "don't expect to see this on mother jones" (or any other credible news source)
http://www.jammiewf.com/2013/ky-dem-...ell-recording/
but ...
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/p...-judd/2074693/
now that the source has been identified, all that left to do is determine why McConnell sidestepped legal (state) protocol/jurisdiction, and called in the FBI when its not a federal offense, illegal or otherwise. And last but not least, who paid the legal assistants/campaign workers and what funds were used to pay them ... any idea on that whirlie?

So, let me get this straight.
Two Democrats have admitted to bugging McConnell without his knowledge.
But you say - for God knows what reason - that "all that is left to do" is find out why McConnell called in the FBI and find out who paid the legal assistants. In other words, we need to investigate McConnell - the victim?
Just how far up your ass is your head?
I don't who is more desperate - Whirly for trying to use ANY evidence, no matter how shabby, to prove Menendez fucked Dominican hookers - or YOU for trying so desperately to sweep this under the rug - within 48 hours of its occurrence.
Oh, yeah, and this is something you could care less about, right? Horseshit.
Regarding the FBI - what exactly does your little mind perceive as the problem? Contrary to what you so obviously believe, there is nothing wrong with asking the FBI to investigate something. If it turns out they don't have jurisdiction, then they decline to investigate - no harm, no foul. If you called the FBI to investigate a business partner who stole company funds, but there are no federal grounds, then the FBI informs you of that fact and refers you to the proper state authorities.
And it is by no means clear that the FBI does not have jurisdiction. According to this article, they are investigating:
http://www.kentucky.com/2013/04/10/2...s-several.html
And the two Democratic operatives broke the law if they were not part of the conversation. If they were outside the door recording the conversation of other people as that article indicated, they broke the law.
So "all that is left to do" includes prosecuting the two of them.

Ethics rules bar members from using staff for campaign purposes on government time. Staff members can work for campaigns under Senate rules as long as they are not using public resources - they can not use their office computers, for example, or work on campaign efforts when they are getting paid for legislative work.
so ? I want to know the details, exactly.'''
Using taxpayer-funded resources to pay staffers to dig up dirt on political opponents isn’t just an ethics violation, it’s a federal crime,” said CREW Executive Director Melanie Sloan. “As Sen. McConnell requested, the FBI is investigating the recording. A thorough and fair investigation necessitates the bureau also inquire into whether Sen. McConnell himself violated the law.”
pretty funny ... Turtleboy calls in the FBI to investigate the dems and he's fucked up too

It's called "getting out in front of the story".
You raise the topic only for the purpose of pointing out how it is no big deal and we should all move on - nothing to look at here, folks. That's how you try to sweep it under the rug.
And then when it turns out some Dems did the bugging, you absurdly tell us that what we really have to do is find out why McConnell called in the FBI and find out if any money was spent in violation of ethics rules. That also is how you try to sweep it under the rug.
BTW, it is "nth" degree, not "enth" degree. If you are going to call someone an idiot, try to get your spelling right.

allow me to explain a complex thought ... watching the dems and retards go at each other is a joke. The thread subject has my curiosity. Do I really care how things wash out at the end. Nope, sure don't.
but look on the bright side .. if I didn't make a typo or used spell check you wouldn't have anything to keep saying on a no point thread ...
ready set GO !

Interesting how you libtards are so selective regarding when you want exact details. What about Benghazi and Fast & Furious, and a myriad other issues where you've turned the other way??
