So take back the party and the process. The rules are made by the parties. You can't change the rules by sitting outside complaining. That is why the TEA party is making some headway while Occupy is not. We conservatives don't lose our idenitity by working inside the party. We know it takes time before the leadership changes or they have to accept the money and energy of the conservatives. The democratic party is famous for being a party of different interests. Imagine if they decided that they wanted to have the conservatives in the tent rather than the radical liberals.
Democracies are not easy. Our republic requires that we pay attention and make our disagreements known whether with the democrats or GOP.
