Why is it, modern political dynasties are mostly Democrats ?
With the exception of the Bush family, almost all modern day political dynasties are uber-liberal Democrats. And note the Bush's are more representative of main stream politic than the left of center represented by the Daly's, Kennedy's, Clinton's, and to lesser extent Pelosi's, Landrieu's and others.
Why do liberals love to be lorded over by these families....for decades upon decades ?

STanza Stark demonstrates what I wrote to Timmie yesterday. No republican will ever make the cut for people like him. So right off the bat he limits his choices by half. Instead of choosing your candidates by party why not open yourself up to things like character and experience. I have not always voted for the republican, I try to vote for the best candidate. Unfortunatelty, the democratic party puts forth all these candidates who do the party proud while forgetting about the people. There have been times that I hold my nose for the lesser of two evils and sometimes I have a real choice. It will be a great day when people like Stanza no longer run the parties.
Of course both of you forgot the Romney dynasty, right?
And, might I add, the minor dynasty of Ron and Rand Paul.
I say "minor" because Representatives are a dime a dozen, like county executives and mayors. A House rep is generally NOT a stepping stone to a presidential campaign. I can't remember the last time a House representative made that leap.
Most political dynasties come out of governors, Senators, and Presidents.
Nonetheless, they ARE related to it is still a dynasty of sorts.
But if Rand runs against Hillary, then it is dynasty (minor) vs. dynasty (major). And Rand becomes the easy pick.
What do you have against people of color thinking for themselves, ZanyBore? Do they all have to fall in line with you, or else be considered a sellout? That's kind of how Hitler controlled Germany.
Nothing more than slanderous, LGBT innuendo. (sarcasm on) Yeah, right, there is no LGBT agenda (sarcasm off).
Jindal is brilliant, but his record as governor is abysmal.
Jindal has had his shortcomings as Governor. He's not as flamboyant as Edwards and not as outspoken as Foster, but he is honest for the most part. Oh, and so much more knowledgeable than Blanco was.

This may surprise you. I have slightly more white friends than I do black and I have a ton of black friends. Many are republican while most are liberal. It takes a rare person to look beyond politics most people like you obviously can 't and I'm sure you can't make the same claims as I do and be honest about it. You guys are the ones that get extremely butthurt and emotional over political differences I know how to put them aside when needed. Not everyone can do that.
Trumps your dumb-ass every damn day of the week, zany; after all, you're the dumb-ass that chose a handle named after one of Africa's largest and most notorious slave markets that was not closed down until almost the 20th century.

Bobby Jindal was born in Louisiana to Amar and Raj Jindal, immigrants from Punjab, India. Jindal was one of 50 students nationwide admitted to the Program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME) at Brown University, guaranteeing him a place in medical school. Jindal completed majors in biology and public policy. He graduated in 1991 at the age of 20, with honors in both majors. Jindal was named to the 1992 USA Today All-USA Academic Team. He applied to and was accepted by both Harvard Medical School and Yale Law School, but studied at New College, Oxford, as a Rhodes Scholar.

Check out my white washing thread. I would never want to trade places with a sell-out like Piyush.
