I think it's impossible to make a broad assumption about the "why" for any human action. Some of the guys posting no "AA" providers, may see ladies of color but simply be in the mood for something different.

As for me, body type, reputation and affordability are all that's ever mattered in my choices of company. At least for a first encounter, after that it's a comfort level and friendly relationship that matters.

Alicia, I don't know if it's a new trend, meaning that I don't know if it's happening more than usual, as I've been on here for less than a year. But it's definitely a real thing!

I'd say that if a hobbyist makes broad generalizations that Black women are exceptionally more unattractive, untrustworthy, unprofessional, or unintelligent than women of other races... well, I wouldn't want to spend time with him anyway. I'm sure it would be an awkward time for all (to say the least).

It's something I'm still learning to do, but I focus on marketing my services to folks who think I'm attractive/desirable as I am.

There's also a great thread "Elegant Ebonies," which is very affirming, and showcases lots of stunning Black providers.

This is probably closer to the truth than anything. Sometimes you just have a taste for a specific thing. And when you do and ISO, you don't want to have to sift thru a bunch of PMs.

It's not charity we're all paying for an experience. Just do you. You can't control what the next man/woman wants. All you can do is be the best provider you can be and let your body of work and marketing speak for itself.

Maybe true, but I read that as "anything but AA", meaning they'll see Caucasians, Hispanics, Indian, etc. Seems like they're only asking for one ethnicity to not respond.

This is a good post. A guy putting an ISO out for a specific type is just tacky to me. Shit, man. Just look through the showcases and FIND your type, and then pursue.

Hell, I don't have a 'type' particularly. If you're fine, I wanna HIT IT!! My idea of fine may vary, from lean types to a little extra curvy.

It's what it is. People have their prejudices. The hobby is a hot bed of racism. Hell, there's a provider in ETEX that just put "NO BLACKS" on her shit and called it a day.

There are hobbyists who will tell you flat out that they don't see providers who see African American men.

It is what it is.
