No. I jumped to that conclusion based on his over reactions to this thread.............

Not overreaction. First of all, you're damned right I'm a UT grad.

Second, this is about Whirlyturd's misleading headlines and running off at the mouth based on a smattering of info he gleaned while skimming Breitbart.

His continued argument only indicated his willingness to argue, not his understanding of the story.

I'll bet he doesn't know where Clarksville is either, LLIdiot!

Yeah; over reaction. You called it a non story, an old story of no consequence, when in fact we have a university president who will be exiting because of the scandal.

But you love your Longhorns - Admission Scandal and all.

Please explain the SCANDAL. You haven't yet done that. You've called the story a scandal. Time and time again. But you haven't explained what, why and how. Or anything else.

Michael Quinn Sullivan wrote an article for Breitbart and called it a scandal. But didn't explain it. Neither have you.

Juvenile.

And yes, another abuse of the facts.

Lying sack of shit.

Where did you go to college, Whir-LIE-turd?

I am not the only one who considers the Admission scandal to be a scandal. You don't like that word because it implies corruption at your beloved institution.

Others have called it a scandal. Feel feel to choose another word when you describe the preferential treatment that politically connected students got when they sought admission. I call it a scandal. But you don't get to tell me and others NOT to use that word.

So fuck off.

Pbbt...every university in the US lowers their standards for generous donations, legacies, and to make sure that they have the "right" connections.

Now what would be news is if a senator's kid got denied at UVA or George Mason. They might fail out...but they won't tell them no. Never going to happen.

We know..that is why it is a story worth following when a University Board of Regents launches an investigation and heads roll as a result.

Something to be applauded IMO. But some Longhorn alumn don't think so.
