I agree PJ. I have eaten more than my fair share of shit Sammy's and am not vain enough to think that under a certain set of unlucky circumstances would so again.


I wasn't the one that stated you always have a choice of saying no. I'm not perched on the mountaintop tell others "Just say NO". That was the reality I was trying to point out to Lauren.

I am not judging one way or the other peoples choices. I do think people should own their own choices in life. I also think I should not judge another by their choice. It may not be the same choice I would choose but they should own it and I'll own mine. But that is for another thread.

Well, ATL, I could have come across as nervous because I was a bit nervous. But both ladies gave me enough space to calibrate myself so that I wasn't hyperventilating.

Now that you have mentioned my demeanor, I wonder if they picked up on the fact that I was disappointed almost from the moment each opened the door. Both ladies had websites which depicted sexily-dressed women. Wearing high heels, lingerie or sexy dresses. Yet each opened the door as if they had spent less than 5 minutes prepping for my arrival. They were both clean, I assume. But one was in sweat pants and a Tee shirt (no makeup), the other in what I would describe more as underwear than lingerie (no makeup). You know, I know that between the two of us, I am more excited about the session, but I would like my delusion to last as long as possible.

Which brings me to what might be my last question? if the website depicts a lady dressed to thrill, shouldn't she be dressed that way for my arrival? Is it ok to ask/tell a provider how you would like them dressed? I don't mean to be inconsiderate, but this is MY fantasy.

This probably sounds like a bunch of whining. I'm not. I am old enough to know that no matter how hard people may try, there is never a guarantee that good chemistry will exist. Now, if I ask my mom, she says I am one good looking devil. But I've been rejected a time or two in the real world so that I recognize I am not everyone's idea of a dreamboat.

But I am a gentleman, clean and polite, if a tad bent.

It took me a minute to translate WTF-speak to English, but yes that was FasF

& Barney - I do not think it is unreasonable to suggest the attire she wears when she greets you. Most good providers want you to have a good time and are happy to accomodate any reasonable request.

My pet peeve is on the other end of the spectrum....if they are not dressed appropriately for the situation & as a result stop traffic...I know they'll get naked BCD; but I prefer they not walk thru the lobby half naked.

That's TERRIBLE! They should both be fired or loose their escort card (if there was such a thing). I sometimes spend days getting ready for a date. Mani & pedi, hair cut and colored, shop for a new dress for the event or location, waxing, facials, body wrap, an extra trip to the gym, etc. Then the day of, I spend no less than 2-4 hours getting ready both physically and mentally.

Hmmm--very frustrated newcomer. Made two appointments with two ladies who had some glowing reviews--in fact one of them actually contacted me first. I looked forward to the meeting and BOOM--neither showed. In one's defense, she did let me know the day ahead of time so I am cutting her all the slack in the world cause I know stuff just happens. But the other one?

And to add to my frustration-the ads in the city in which I live are freaking grossing me out--talk about "holes" and such. So, now I know. It's not me. It's them.

It's not necessarily YMMW. More likely WALDT/CASG. Most P4P clients are probably looking for something different than what I like. So a lot of very enthusiastic reviews don't necessarily tell me much about whether I would enjoy seeing the lady as much.

Unless you happen to run across reviewers with similar tastes and preferences, whose reviews may be more reliable for you, you have limited options. You can either take your time to assess a lady's intelligence and personality carefully (which is still no guarantee), or cross your fingers and rely on trial and error.

Well, this is actually becoming quite funny to me. I am sharing this story, just to share. I'm laughing, not bitching.

So, set an appt with a lady for this morning. agreed upon time and all that. sent me to a certain part of town and i called her when i neared. she informed she was staying in a budget-type hotel. Strike one! But I can handle it. Get to the hotel and call for room number. Several people standing around outside staring at me (I'm probably paranoid-but not liking it.) Strike Two! Call the lady for specific room number, she asks if i mind hitting a pharmacy to pick up some raincoats. Let me recap. I don't like the crummy hotel; people outside loitering; now go get some coats. I'M MARRIED. No way to explain that one if seen. Strike three! She's out!!!!!!!!!
