I also work in the mockingbird area. Lots of streetwalkers and their security people riding those bikes up n down mockingbird. I've even seen a large pile of the bikes at a bus stop on Irving Blvd. I have ridden my own bike to that QT Store, sure glad I have a good lock!

The Chinese bike-share operator with the bright yellow two-wheelers is riding out of Dallas, company and city officials confirmed Thursday.

and SPIN will be leaving too

San Francisco-based Spin is also beating a retreat. The company still has some bikes on Dallas County community college campuses, according to a local representative, but is no longer serving the city as a whole.

The new City of Dallas Ordnance is driving them out.

The per bike fee of $18 is too high and then demanding these companies to move the bikes every 2 days in residential neighborhoods and once a week in non residential neighborhoods is too much:

I did say in that post:

I think once the city starts enforcing the laws outlined under this new legislation, many of these bike share companies will leave the city.

I was correct.

So if ALL or most of the remaining 3 companies call it quits and leave, the City of Dallas will not be getting their $18 per bike fee and their annual licensing fees and someone on city council will be eating Ramen.

All the locals thought it was city gifts, they're all riding these app rental bikes around, some even have security bike locks so they don't get stolen from them, I'm waiting for them to get the bird electric scooters
