FYI, those are photographs of Jews awaiting resettlement in Germany prior to World War II, American Indian Chiefs awaiting resettlement on to a reservation, and Russian Jews (in England) that fled the pogroms in Russia. They all counted on government to have their best interests at heart. I could show you modern photos of Native Americans (as they are now called) on the reservation without a casino, or black children in a slum (think Chicago), or people sitting around New Orleans waiting for someone to bring them water when it is raining on them.
