Seems as though a 3rd Cohen lawyer, Stephan M Ryan, has come forward and brought a receipt. Starting to wonder who will get Epsteined first; Bragg or Cohen...

Team Trump Lawyrers (TTL): Your honor we would like to present two witnesses Da Judge: Who are they, what is their testimony and why is it relevant? TTL: The first is: Robert Costello, Michael Cohen’s former legal advisor, he will testify to the following points:
Trump NEVER directed Michael Cohen to pay Stormy Daniels
Michael Cohen is a “convicted perjurer” sentenced to 3 years
Michael Cohen is far from solid evidence and was disbarred for his perjury
TTL: The second is Lanny Davis, he will testify that that Cohen has no evidence that Trump directed him to pay Stormy Daniels Da Judge: And both of these witnesses are Mr Cohen's former legal advisors? TTL: Yes your Honor Da Judge: Case dismissed with prejudice
5-D chess sure has some weird pitfalls. Happy hour time

Cohen has a credibility issue. most DA's don't fare well with a known liar as their star witness.
Costello came forward because he claims Bragg showed only six emails to the grand jury where he provided over 300 to Bragg.
DAs call liars and criminals to testify all the time. How do you think they try mafia cases? Or RICO cases or criminal organizations? Like I said, you’ve no clue what you’re talking about.
Team Trump (TT):Mr Cohen. You've been convicted of lying and your testimony today is that you were previously lying about your lying . I have one final question for you. Are you lying about lying about your lying? Cohen: Yes.

So withholding exculpatory evidence from the defense...hundreds of emails...isn't prosecutor's misconduct on the part of Alvin scumbragg.
BTW this is in the preview of the federal prosecutor's NOT the local DA...but again you know that.
I think that all if not a couple of these qualify...

false analogy about the Mafia. those are people who have turned state witness. very few have recanted actual trial testimony from cases.
How do you discredit a lying witness?
The three most often used methods to impair witness credibility include prior inconsistent statements, character evidence and case-specific impeachment.
Prior inconsistent statements/conduct.
Character evidence.
Case-specific impeachment.
Consider when to impeach.

Perry Mason always got them to admit it on the stand or at times, arise from the gallery and admit it
Prosecutor: here are exhibits 1a and 1b and the gun that has Lt. Tragg's mark, I want to introduce them into evidence
Judge: Mr. Mason?
Mason: Defense accepts the exhibits
Mason: I call Professor Willoby
Willoby: I did it, I did it
Wiki:
The earliest instance of life imitating art to have been called a Perry Mason moment in retrospect occurred in a 1983 Maryland trial. Harlow Brian Sails was accused of murdering an off-duty Prince George's County police officer while robbing a jewelry store a year earlier with three accomplices. All of them had been sentenced to life for both crimes when Sails' trial began. Conflicting eyewitness testimony cast what could have been reasonable doubt on Sails' role in the crime. He denied the charges, but recanted on cross-examination and confessed to the murder while on the witness stand. "I was lying to you before," he admitted to the prosecutor. "I want to let you know that I am guilty. I killed him."
