None -- absolutely none -- of these assholes reflect my POV; so I will be voting for the one whom I believe will be the least damaging over the course of the next four years . . . and that won't be Odumbo.

I was addressing COF you addressed COF and I quoted you

my bad for the confusion

Karl Rove on the VP candidate (TTHs favorite political strategist) :

"But such political decisions run into one hard reality: Running mates haven't decided an election in more than a half-century. For example, research by Bernard Grofman and Reuben Kline, political scientists at the University of California, Irvine, suggests that the net impact of the vice-presidential picks in 2008 was roughly one-half of one point and is generally less than one percentage point. Presidential elections are rarely that close."

WW are you saying that a VP pick has no impact? I assure had McCain picked a better qualified candidate than Palin the race would have been closer in 2008. didn't Powell basically switch his support to Obama because he felt the VP was wrong? Hasn't Cheney said McCain choose the wrong VP.
In an election year where it's about the economy and some ey battle ground states- Romney instead of choosing someone who can bring him women, or latino votes he chooses soon one who had one of the most controversial and radical plans in history(Ryan Plan). Keep in mind that Florida is a key state with a large senior population who all will remember that Ryan wants to eradicate Medicare and give them vouchers- hmmm who do you think they will cast their vote for? I assure you seniors want their Medicare than any other topic- don't mess with their Medicare and they know Ryan wants to destroy it.
However, Romney is very wealthy and he's trying to connect with the common Joe but he chooses Ryan who in his budget wants to give tax breaks to corporations and still believes in trickle down economics and tax breaks for the wealthy- once again bad move by Mittens.

The research says your are wrong; it is great to have an opinion, why don't you back it up with a link to a study or analysis that supports your theory...otherwise your are just bloviating !

And McCain was a terrible candidate; Palin probably helped McCain more than hurt him.......and Cheny didn't say anyting of the sort, you are about a week behind on the Democratic spin fax.

It is really the worst choice there is.

Fortunately for America WW's vote doesn't have ANY impact at all, it would be bad if he lived in a battle ground state.

Has Paul Ryan ever had a private sector job? I know he was a Capitol Hill staffer for awhile before being elected to Congress at age 28. Does he know anything at all about the real world?

Ryan does nothing for the ticket. Not that I really care, but Romney could have chosen a governor, or at least a legislator who has a history of voting for freedom. Ryan is just a junior member of the RINO caucus. He will make the choice of Dan Quayle look brilliant.

God, please help us elect someone who is not "electable".

Choosing Ryan was nothing more than pandering to far right. Unfortunately for the GOP, elections are won from the center. It just isn't a wise choice; not that any of it will stop a slow motion train wreck.

I never expected the DNC, the Obaminable campaign strategists, and/or the Obaminable loyalist posters in any blog or thread on Eccie to endorse Romney's selection for VP.

So all this whining and trashing was, and is, expected.

You all didn't like Palin cuz you say she was dumb, so now someone brighter than you gets on the ticket and you start calling him a far-right, old-person-poor-person-hater, and rich-person-lover ....

the more you whine and trash Ryan ... the better he looks to me.
