I think, for a while, Obama may have derived some benefit from having people believe he was born in Kenya. It made his story more inspirational more exciting. It's a form of resume enhancement. Just think, he was born in Kenya; his father was a goat herder, and he became editor of Harvard Law Review. It's a variation on Lincoln being born in a log cabin and then becoming president. How can anyone prove someone's opinion is wrong? The only facts are a person made a mistake. He admitted the mistake. A booklet that was printed once, at a high cost, that promoted a book not ever published. Short of a reprint, there is no practical way to correct the error.

The first part of the story was;

So he never corrected a promotional brochure, that was printed one time, that promoted a book he never wrote. A mistake made by someone who stated the mistake was all his.

Cog said he had 15 years to correct it. How would he have corrected it? Would he have them do a second printing?

Should he have paid the tens of thousands of dollars out of his own pocket to correct a mistake made by someone else that promoted a book he did not write?
Of course not.

Too bad Breitbart didn’t check all of the biographies for errors.

Or maybe they did and found a bunch of errors. If they did they wouldn’t tell you. Responsible journalists would have checked the overall accuracy of the booklet as a baseline. Then stated what they found.

If Obama’s had been the only one with an issue they would have let you know that in the first paragraph.

I love the call to see his transcripts. How many ways can it be said it’s none of your business? The demands to put the issue to rest, an issue created by those who demand to see them, are from people who are attempting to bully the President. And they’re pissed because he ignores them.
