THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE--Opening Credits

Very avant garde music. Ahead of it's time.
A number of exotic instruments were used.
The story isn't true as many believe.
It was inspired by real life cereal killer
Ed Gein, also known as the Wisconsin
Woman Skinner. So was the movie Psycho,
and the character Buffalo Bill from Silence
Of The Lambs. Eddie had some mother issues
to say the least. He made a woman suit out
of real skin and would put it on and dance
around outside on moon lit nights. In his mind
becoming his dead mother.
Really, I'm not making it up.
More useful info from BJ.
The film Fargo used the same kind of false opening
claiming that the events portrayed in the film were true.
The opening to Chainsaw is I think the creepiest ever,
and that flashbulb with the whining noise has never
been topped for creepiness.
