ok so i thought to myself, if they have a star trek coffee table surely someone made a star wars one, so without further adieu here it is, now i just have to email the makers of said craft and tell them to just shut up and take my damn money already

It was the same thing when they introduced Arwen in Fellowship...that was supposed to be Glorfindel who found them and he's the one who put Frodo on his horse alone to cross the river...but Liv Tyler is hot...
I don't mind the differences between the books and the movies as much. I never really liked the books that much to begin with - the movies flow so much better than the books did.

Also, Liv Tyler is totally in my Top 5 list, so yeah... gimme some of that hot elf chick love...

I liked the Star Trek one more. While having a big ass X-Wing on your coffee table is cool, it simply takes up too much space to make the table usable at all, imo.

Fuck that noise. 60% of the Lord of the Rings trilogy is singing, walking around for days, or Sam and Frodo gazing lovingly at each other.

And that's right, I'll say it:

The movies were better off without Tom Bombadil.

100% agree. This last set of movies goes beyond the books. Previous video adaptations were simply AWFUL.

I hate to interrupt the Arwen love fest - no, really, she's fucking hawt - but that gaming table is purchasable via www.geekchichq.com, and I want one, my preciouses. SO. BAD. I'm getting moist and throbby just thinking about leaving my painted miniatures and game boards undisturbed in the gaming well, while eating dinner on the hardwood surface above. OMG.

Btw, I fucking love the Monty Python ref.

Oh, and also, ME. Unless I'm elsewhere. More on that as news breaks.

So...do I get any residual throbbing since I posted the pic?

That would be cool and stuff...
