Laughable. With the eviro facists out there they'd never be approved...and if approved a project like the Hoover Dam would be so mired in bureaucratic red tape that it'd be 50 years before it came online as opposed to the 5 years it originally took.
a pretty good article on this... http://politic365.com/2011/11/24/hav...maddow-moment/

they're apparently part of the skeptic camp, but they part ways on how CO2 affects the climate.
so, now we have:
- the proponents (GW/ACC groups)
- the skeptics
- the slayers
all out to fight for the truth on CO2
must be fun to be a scientist.

This would initially be by levying fines, but once that proved to be ineffective, the WCC would need armed forces to enforce its decrees. Pretty soon we have the world bowing to an unelected elite, all in the name of "saving the planet." Not for me, thank you very much. I will continue to recycle, which I do, and drive fuel efficient cars, which I also do. I do this and other things voluntarily, not to save the planet (which doesn't need saving) but because I try to respect the planet. We've surrendered too much control already to international agencies, we need not surrender any more.

The human caused global warming hoax is being used as a tool to advance one world government, which has always been the left's real goal.
The green movement should be called the watermelon movement; green on the outside, red on the inside.

There is also a huge Zero Population Growth movement behind it. Not that I'm against ZPG, just be honest in your motivations and stop with the "Science it settled" bullshit.

Dr. Tim Ball: The Lie that Just Won't Die
The deathless and - in many specific respects - completely fictional meanderings of Dr. Tim Ball have begun appearing again on right-wing blogs all over the net. At City Troll, at Convenient Untruth and at New Orleans Lady, the same tired and retreaded old climate rant paints Dr. Ball as the courageous victim of a plot to silence a well-meaning skeptic.
But Ball can’t even tell the truth about his own resume. His claim to be the first Climatology Ph.D. in Canada is a total falsehood; his degree was in historical geography - not climatology - and it was nowhere near the first ever granted to someone writing vaguely in the field. It also was granted by the university as a doctor of philosophy, not the more prestigious “doctor of science” that Ball claims in these articles.
UPDATE: to make matters worse, it looks like Ball’s “global warming is good for us” message is running front page in the right-wing uber site, The Drudge Report.
He claims as well to have been a professor (again of climatology) at the University of Winnipeg for 32 years, while he confirmed in his own Statement of Claim in a pending lawsuit (l ook here ) that he was a professor (of geography, never climatology) for just eight years.
Dr. Ball claims never to have been paid by oil and gas interests, but if you look here , you’ll find a Globe and Mail story in which Dr. Barry Cooper, the man behind Ball’s former industry front group, the Friends of Science , offers this clumsy admission: “[The money’s] not exclusively from the oil and gas industry,” says Prof. Cooper. “It’s also from foundations and individuals. I can’t tell you the names of those companies, or the foundations for that matter, or the individuals.”

JB is right. This hoax is all about control, and has nothing to do with the environment.

There are some really stupid people posting here. The population of the earth reached approximately 1 Billion human beings for the first time ever in 1805. Just three weeks ago, the estimated world population cracked the SEVEN billion person threshold.
Hell if you just figured on the extra cow farts passed by the cattle grown to feed just the beef eating part of that population you could totally power the largest 10 cities in North America for an entire year on that much methane gas.
All you have to do is add the oral farting of the Teapublicans posting on this board to realize that the planet is already doomed.
Yes, COG, I got an email this morning from "THEY" and "THEY" told me to keep laughing at people like you who have figured out that "THEY" are paying a lot of us to make sure others don't listen to those of you who have stumbled upon the truth that there is a "THEY".
There is a "THEY" meeting every year in Geneva and their only natural enemies are the "OTHERS" in the Bilderberg group. "THEY" and "THOSE" own the planet but have been fighting over control of the country clubs for over 50 years.
7,000,000,000,000 people taking a shit in a field can't be that much worse than 1,000,000,000,000 can it?

LMAO Yes, I got carried away and added three too many zeros, didn't I? Oops.
However, I do know who THEY are and I also know the Bilderbergs and I'm the only one brave enough to admit taking orders from THEM to keep the rest of you under control. THEY are going to have to pay me more to keep quiet.
NO ONE admits to being one of THEM and I'm the only one who has spilled the beans on who THEY are!
Dilbert, do other people besides me think you're hot?

Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood. She wanted to use birth control to improve the human species by selective breeding, also known as eugenics. Hitler was also a big fan of eugenics.
She wanted to control the breeding habits of the races she believed to be inferior (non whites).
Today she is a hero to the left who only talk about her efforts to make birth control readily available.
On blacks, immigrants and indigents:
"...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born." Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people
On the extermination of blacks:
"We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population," she said, "if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America, by Linda Gordon
"The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it." Margaret Sanger, Women and the New Race (Eugenics Publ. Co., 1920, 1923)

Planned Parenthood is a killing machine willingly financed by liberals; while Prolife thinkers are forced to pay as well. The socialist's slaughter of the innocent continues; outdoing Stalin, Mao, and other communists.

If Republicans were supporters of Roe vs Wade instead of the ones trying to overturn it, Blacks would be screaming genocide.
Black abortions since 1973 (the beginning of Roe vs Wade) far exceed any other race. Millions of black children were killed in the womb because of the so called compassionate liberals. I'm attaching a link to an article on the topic.
