Even a BFA in instrumental music requires English, math and science. So let's assume for a moment that JDIdiot is a professor of cello. (Couldn't think of a stretchier stretch) Wouldn't he need to have enough functional knowledge in language arts, math and science to be able to find his way around a sheet of music?
