Fascinating! Someone who admits to knowing nothing of American history (or European history) and admits he is not interested in learning American history; nevertheless, he feels compelled to remark on that which he knows nothing about --

Oh how succinct! You’ve proffered a few meager words to express an even more meager thought.

E Howard Hunt admitted his involvement on his deathbed. People don't generally lie when they are about to meet their maker. J Edgar Hoover announced within minutes of the shooting that Oswald was the assassin and acted alone. Really? They hadn't even caught him yet.
Maybe this is why he was murdered.

Or maybe because he was about to pull out of VietNam, a real blow to military profiteers.
Or a number of reasons. JFK was about to transform the US, and restore liberty. There are some who oppose that at any cost.
Pull your heads out of your asses and wake up!

COG....You should heed your own words and do a little research yourself and pull your own head out of your ass because your talking like a Moron. The stuff about JEH is boloney as is most of the stuff in your post.
I too was a skeptic for years, but after watching many indepentent studies and other documentaries on the subject I changed my mind.
IBH posted some very good links to start with and I highly recommed you read Posners "Case Closed"

I've read plenty, and was firmly convinced that Oswald acted alone. Now I'm sure he didn't, in fact, he may not have even known about it.
Posner picks and chooses what info he wants to report, and leaves lots of testimony and evidence that doesn't fit his preconceived notion out of the book.

Oh really? Have you even read the book? Provide me with some facts that said JEH knew it was Oswald before he was even caught. That wasn't even in Oliver Stones loony toons movie.
Every piece of evidence says 3 shots from the 6th floor window in the Texas School Book Depository. Which by the way is where LHO was by the testimony of his coworkers and witnessed by the Dallas Police and otheres. The same building he fled from and later shot and killed a policmen. Those events have actual eyewitnesses.
And LHO didn't know anything about it?

That's my theory after all I've read and listened to. You're not going to convince me, and I won't convince you. It's ok. I hope you turn out right.

Your Holiness, I would commend to you the following book, not to change your mind, but it might be a fun read. I haven't read it yet (I'm going to) but I listened to a two hour interview with him and it was interesting. He does interview Oliver Stone, which for both of us is a red flag, but there might be some other information that would be useful.

Over the years, there is probably not many posters in this forum who has been on opposite sides of debatable issues more so than the Lama and I. We have a long history, dating back to almost the Civil War (well maybe not quite that long, but you get my drift). In any event, I am going to give him his just due on this topic. I believe he is spot on. It just goes to prove that even the Lama can get it right occasionally!
I do not recall if he and I have previously debated this issue but I know his posting style well enough to say that he is very opinionated. By the same token, he will perform due diligence on a subject and admit later if he feels he was mistaken! I have been around long enough to know that not many posters will do that.
Okay Lama, the next freakin' drink is on you, Ass Wipe!
Damn, I must be getting soft in my old age!

But then there is the Warren Commission, and the forensics provided by ABC News and the Discovery in the video links provided above. Even the tapes discovered last week further undermine some of the previously posited "conspiracy theories". Again, in the 50 years since the assassination, new forensic technologies and the discovery of new evidence, such as that revealed last week, serve to further support the findings of the Warren Commission and discount those of the conspiracy theorists. Occam's Razor.
