). Phonetically, this quote should be pronounced “Weni, Widi, Wici,” because in Latin the "V" is enunciated as a "W". In my younger, college days, I did not know this. The result was that I mispronounced these words for some time. On one occasion, I had a young lady tell me she didn’t know about the “Veni” or the “Vici,” but she did know about VD.
