I will say that the stack of potential moderator resumes is not very tall, in any areas across the site.

Our current board is basically unmoderrated. The only time they show up is to protect posters they are in arrears with. (documented).

Currently our board is dominated by fake handles (many of which are obviously of banned members). They seem to get INSTANT premium access review of their hilariously weak reviews.

CC do this...go see which MODS are approving the reviews of the obvious fake posters. See what that tells you.

Its like the current presidential election. We have two leading candidates, neither is the answer...but one will be elected because we have no other choices.

And NO I would not be interested in being a Moderator simply because I couldn't pander to the posters who are protected...

MOD term limits would be non biased. Serve your term, get back in the pool. Over time MODS become jaded. I get tired of the condescention of some of ours. Just acting like asses because they are TIRED of moderating but want the perks so they hang on for dear life.

Let them MOD for 2 years, then go away. Get some fresh blood in their who haven't developed loyalties or had their MODship purchased through free drinks, free pussy and free....well...whatever.

Quit allowing long time (unliked) board members have say in who the next MOD is. Quit making MODS out of current MODS friends.

Mods become corrupt over time in most cases. Term limits would impact that positively.

You say there are no resume stacks...tell us what the criteria is for someone becoming a MOD. I've been told some of ours are because they are friends with current MODS or long time members. That seems to only enforce the issues.

So...theoretically of course...someone could buy a modship for say, $37.50....and then let someone they are indebted have access to their password to log on and post as a MOD ? Or send PM's as that MOD? Issue warnings, points...


I mean, all they would need is the MODS password and any unlockable MOD tools with that password?
