Nicole, you're following Barney to London? Is he your pimp? Or new biz partner for your restaurant? Keep an eye on him those purple people, they can be tricky.

Obviously good luck in the next phase of your life. I am sure you'll be leaving many broken hearts in Texas and elsewhere.

Save your money and have a plan.

It is interesting how easy it is to become addicted to this lifestyle.Last year when I was unable to work for a couple of months I really felt lost .I grew depressed, and felt worthless. It was not until I found ways to volunteer my time to keep busy that I was able to snap out of it.

I agree with you this is not an easy business to leave, but it sounds like you have a plan. Many women leave this business , and you just know that they will be back in a month, or two After reading your posts here I doubt very much that that will be you.You sound like you know what you are up against, and I am sure that you will be very successful in your new life.

Do you have customer service skills? check!
Do you know how to tailor your business to a target clientel? check!
Are you currently successful as a small business owner? check!
Do you have at least a basic undertanding of supply v. demand? check!

Learn to keep your profit margin managable by evaluating overhead and buying based on margins etc.. (if you are going into a retail of some kind) And use those skills above and the many others you have and you are miles ahead of many who try to start their own business.

They say most people fail at their first self employed business. I have family that complain all the time about the "foreigners who come and get money from the govt. to start a business". I always ask these family members what kind of business they want to start, they always say something that is completely not in demand for most people. I hear, a music store in the middle of nowhere etc... I had 3 stupid cousins try to go into business as a cleaning company, using their own vehicles, paying full retail for supplies, and bidding jobs less than much larger companies. They learned quickly that they could not pay themselves because they were having to pay for gas, and full retail on supplies. They were also not efficient in their work and were not managing their time properly. Their business failed. It is very easy to see why. They had no business sense and not experience running a business. None of them had ever been in managment.

You differ because you are already successful at running a business. You know marketing, time managment, money mgmt, customer service, etc... I can go on and on. With a solid work ethic I see no reason why you could not be successful.

Plus if you get into sales, well a sexy woman can sell ANYTHING.
