As far as somewhere specific, any hotel off of 1-10 or near the airport is fine.
I really can't say this enough. El Paso is an incredibly safe city. Again, if you are coming from Dallas for Fort Worth, there is nothing in El Paso, Texas that can scare you.

Good idea. Especially for sharing expenses and possibly for offering doubles. You can never be too careful or worry too much about safety. Again though, if you can survive Dallas, El Paso will be a playground.

This is a good question. I wonder how popular (or not) something like P411 is out there.

A lot of El Pasoans have p411. Because of the lack of p411 providers in town, a lot of us have simply let our memberships expire. BP is king, not because we prefer it, but because that is all that there is.
The only thing different, odd, strange, or weird about El Paso is our isolation. If there were more cities, towns, and suburbs around El Paso, we wouldn't be considered any different than San Antonio, Phoenix, or any city in southern California.
I can't stress this enough. If you hear terrible terrible things about Ciudad Juarez, well, those terrible terrible things happened in Mexico. Even if it is a head scratcher, if it does not compute or make sense, El Paso is in fact a very safe city. Not to throw stones but El Paso is safer than Dallas/Fort Worth.
Hopefully a few of you fine ladies can make it to town and have a successful trip.
