Trump absolutely declared that. Your link was to the National Emergency. The Public Health Emergency was in January.

I say the national debt of printed money doesn't matter and it certainly has to be done to jump start the economy - Milton Friedman argued for years it would have stopped the Great Depression in the 1930's.

However, lots of individuals have gotten burned on this thing and that will hurt their families down the line - massive amounts of private equity has been decimated and our grandkids will still be paying for that.

On a good note, the price for naming rights on various things at Stanford has gone way down...they are almost begging right now and guaranteeing the grandkids a slot...
