The very sad part is that I feel that men who partake in the hobby and who have vowed themselves to a woman who refuses to sexually fill her vows is just as shameful. Shame on him and shame on her and shame on me, too.

I never understand why the wife who fails her sexual / emotional duties is labeled as wholesome. I imagine it has something to do with going to church and kids and cooking and cleaning and working a non adult oriented job.

The definitions of wholesome and acceptable vary from person to person.

To most any person whores are simply whores - not worthy people. My belief is that people are worthy and can strive for their own personal growth. I may not agree with their direction of growth, but I respect that it is theirs.

One of my favorites to ponder is the profound thought of ownership. I own my own ways of life. Sometimes I would rather not, and sometimes I change things. However - no matter what - I own it.

If a woman is okay sexually denying her partner she owns that. If she feels guilt or no guilt she still owns it.

The same for the fella.

The same for the escorts.

We all own our own.

The world is not black and white although society has for since forever in time believed that if lines of black and white are defined that society will be better. And perhaps this is partially true. And I am a part of society as a whole and it disgusts many to even admit that.

If one is to think of hooking as shameful. Than myself being single, is that not also if not as bad as married guy? MMM unless its more open and both can cheat.

now one utr I see is married and hubby not into it being ok. Yet he knew before hand what she was, and it would be hard to get her to stop. I do not see her as shameful but he was a fool. As hard as he try's to stop her. He will not let her leave.

The women having the affair with the married guy is out of line. The married guy is more out of line.

That's how I see that specific situation. But there could be enough backstory in a situation like that to turn the tables in a shockingly complete way, and nobody looking in from the outside is going to have the insight to accurately assess.

People are fucking complicated enough when they're by themselves or around one other person. Turn them loose on one another in a large, unmanageable situation and they're capable of anything.

If I were running around guessing, I would say that in large part the specific issue that the majority of people object to hooking is that the hooks are out there fucking strangers in an indiscriminate way. So fucking, or not fucking, one individual that a person is involved in a traditional relationship is OK and has the stamp of approval from the majority of folks, but fucking swarms of strangers, one after the other, for money, is not.

I think it is mostly the hypocrisy that is toughest to measure. As you stated that the act of "immoral" behaviors have already been defined by society, and the specific issue and your example was excellent.
