Do you really think a new party, more conservative than the Republican party, can win over the majority of Americans? I wish that were true.

Implementing conservative policies and downsizing the federal government as required by the Constitution, is absolutely what's necessary to save the country from disaster. I don't think the majority of Americans will allow that to happen.

The country has degenerated into mob rule. Things are going to get much worse before they get any better, and that's not going to happen any time soon.

If it was just a matter of him "moving on", why is he leaving a month after his party got drubbed and he has 4 more years left in his term? Did he not know he was a politician who just wanted to serve for "a short time" and then "move on" when he ran for relection two years ago? Did he not know that when he said just a short time ago that he would be serving out his term until 2016? If it was just money, and god knows he needs it if his financial disclosure forms are truthful, why wouldn't he wait until he completed his term?

Your credibility on just about anything is pretty suspect because you come across as such a dumbass in your posts. But, when you post up shit like this, denying the obvious, you really reinforce the viewpoint that you're nothing more than a talking-point hack.

A drubbing is what happened in 2010 when there was a sea change in government at the local, state and federal level.

And of course DeMint is moving on.....serious minded Conservatives know the real game change will not be played out in Washington over the next four years.

DeMint can better serve Conservative agenda by being outside the GOP at this point.
