I enjoy Las Vegas, but after one visit to the casinos here I realized I don't like Las Vegas because I gamble. I also enjoy Caesars and can tell you these casinos are nothing like that.

There are "underground" game rooms all over the place, maybe one will offer your game of choice.

If your a craps player, probably the Horseshoe in Bossier is your best bet.

Most of the game rooms are just slots. Underground around the dallas area but mckinney they are running wide open. If you need any info or addresses to get in any pm me. I know almost all the owners

I love vegas. Just got back after a week and had a blast. I am also a diamond Caesars member nothing around Oklahoma or Louisiana will compare. I go to vegas about every six weeks and am going to move out there. What area would you suggest to live in. I was told Henderson or Summerlin were good choices.

Ranger, it depends what you are looking for.. Lake Las Vegas is gorgeous. So are areas of Summerlin, Henderson and Silverado Ranch.. Just grab a realtor and give them your list of specifics. Maybe rent a furnished place at the Meridian or somewhere similar until you are sure which area you want to be in.
I just left living in Vegas. It's great for what it's worth.. No state taxes, but it is an adult playground. It's transient (gives it some of the best second hand store shopping in America!) and lacks a lot of culture.
I actually just left Vegas again.. Got back last night. I'll be heading back in June. Weekend trips are way more fun for me.

Alyssa we need to get together sometime. I was told Lake Las Vegas was a great area. The new Linq area on the strip is a nice addition. Seems like the economy is turning around out there a little now. Actually looking around the lake Mead area also. Do you happen to know a good realtor out there? I fish as much as I gamble so being close to a lake is priority one for me.

I still get free room and buffet coupons for two every month. Just got the ones for the month of June. I was thinking of finally using the June coupons. Let me know when you're thinking of going. Road trip

JJ- Yes, I get free rooms for the Caesars properties! I'm thinking about planning something for some time mid June! It's not certain yet.. I have to go back to Vegas the last weekend of June, so.. Have to look at finances.

Ranger - Vegas economy will always be up and down and up and down.. After Maccau was built, there won't be as much up to the extreme, but it is what it is. I love fishing! I just caught a 37" striped bass right after Easter! I have this notepad that says, "good thing this lady likes fishing as she just opened another can of worms!" ;p

JJ would love to be the one to pop your vegas cherry lol lol. I guess vegas isn't for everyone but dam I sure love the darn place enough to move out there.

I lived there once for 2.5 years.. It's not that I don't like living there, I just like living at lots of places. But, one must always remember, vacationing and living are two toooooootally different things.

And no worries, there is always July... August........ Etc.
