Apparently StupidOld LyingFart is either Lying once again or he did not read the article. 'Cuz had he done so he would have seen that Basketball Hall of Famers such as Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, Elvin Hayes and John Wooden cared. That must mean I am in elite company!

Remember that the next time you post on my threads without reading the article. Gawd, will you ever get over your high school "glory days"? Pathetic.

What a lot of people do not know is that a lot of the team that beat UCLA graduated/left school so that the team that faced them in the tournament was different.

The team went into the stall because they were gassed. In the semi-final game they had played the greatest above the rim game in tournament history and in the mile high setting it took a lot out of the team. Toward the end of the NC State game they were feeling the effect and were gassed.
Note also that the NC State team also beat the NC team of Michael Jordan, Sam Perkins and James Worthy that had won the championship the year before so they were no fluke.

No matter what you say about Guy Lewis he was certainly more qualified to get into the HOF than such light weights as Lou Carnesecca who all the East coast writers fawn over. If Guy Lewis had been in an East coast school and did the same he would have been in long ago.
