Do you think that one must be a descendant of slave owners in order to be racist?

Just as I suspected - you are unwilling to be a man and admit you were wrong when the quotes I posted were cut and pasted directly from the article
I guess I shouldn't be surprised but that is pathetic
It really must pain you so much to see how Reuters examination revealed how intimately tied America remains to the institution of slavery, including all of the past living Presidents, save one - Donald Trump

no you haven't, what you refer to had to do with Fred Trump. it was his longstanding rental policy that eventually was settled with the DOJ. Donald was 28 and newly made president but Fred was still firmly running the show at this point.
LOL That's not really how it works. I've seen no reason so suspect that Obama is racist, but if you have some reasons, maybe you can make a thread about it, and I'll be sure to check them out. If they're valid reasons, then I will say that he was. If they're not valid reasons, I'll easily refute them. Did Obama ever pay a big court settlement due to him committing racial discrimination?
|
it is how it works
obama was criticized several times for taking stances based on race and making clearly provocative if not outright racist statements himself. like .. "if i had a son he'd be like Trayvon", immediately taking sides with the young black kid against the white hispanic man. obama shoulda kept his racist mouth shut now that facts show "little Trayvon" as the one who assaulted zimmerman. did obama speak about zimmerman after the trial? probably not.

The article said that America is intimately tied to the institution of slavery. It absolutely does not say that the living Presidents are intimately tied to it. Why do you continue to lie about that? Why don't you read the article?

I am done with your silly games and lies on this thread. They don't merit any more response.
It is obvious how much it pains you to see how Reuters examination revealed how intimately tied America remains to the institution of slavery, including all of the past living Presidents, save one - Donald Trump

LOL The lawsuit was from 1973. Turd became president of the company in 1971 and had already been working in management there for years before that. Fred and Turd were both sued. You have absolutely no evidence that Fred was "still firmly running the show." You just made that up. In fact, Turd renamed the company The Trump Organization. The building manager admitted that his boss told him not to rent to black people. His boss was Donald Turd. You can make excuses for the obvious racism, but make no mistake, that's what you're doing.

If you'd like to make another thread, we can discuss this there, as this is not the place, but in regards to Trayvon and the scumbag Z Man, there's absolutely nothing racist about saying "If I had a son he'd look like Trayvon."

I agree that America is intimately tied to the institution of slavery, but as far as Reuters saying that the living presidents are intimately tied to it, you're making that up. Why do you lie? Games? I'm not the one falsely claiming someone was off topic, while ignoring others who were actually off topic.

Actually, there were very few white slave owners in the USA and even fewer importers. Mostly it was black Africans loading up those boats. In fact, it was the morality of white Europeans who did away with the practice. The UK, then France, then the US in quick succession. Brown and black countries took much longer to rid themselves of slavery, some still haven’t.

LOL According to the 1860 census, 395,216 Americans were slave owners at that time, and almost 1/3 of the population of slave holding states were enslaved! It's funny when people try to white wash the history. At least berry admits that America is tied to it.

395k is what percentage of the US population at the time? 1%? Less than that? Certainly nowhere near a majority or even plurality. Like I said, there were very few slave owners. Thanks for verifying that.
Have you signed the thank you card to the descendants of white Europeans who ended slavery?

Yep - that is right - Senile Biden, Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are direct descendants of slaveholders
The one living President who is NOT - Donald Trump

What a fucking joke. Now this is turning from hate to comic relief. A African American one of the best presidents we ever had owned slaves What a fucking joke.

What’s a joke is your lack of comprehension and ignorance of history. Obama’s lineage traces back through his mothers side (clearly stated in the article), although it wouldn’t be at all surprising if his Kenyan father had descended from slave owners. Halfish the population of the entire country were slaves in the late 1800s.

I'm really going to need to point out that your characterization of the end of chattel slavery isn't really accurate. While France and the UK ended the practice within a couple of years of each other, it took the US about 60 years more to end it here and had to have a whole ass civil war about it. We REALLY liked slavery here.

There’s no denying that. Our agricultural economy existed on the backs of slaves.

Less than 1%? What kind of math is that? Do you think there were half a billion free men in the southern US in 1860? I didn't verify that nonsense. I disproved it.
According to the census, the percentage of slave-owning families as a fraction of total free households in the southern states were as follows:
Mississippi-49%
South Carolina-46%
Georgia-37%
Alabama- 35%
Florida 34%
Louisana-29%
Texas-28%
North Carolina-28%
Virginia-26%
Tenessee-25%
Kentucky-23%
Arkansas-20%
Missouri-13%
Maryland-12%
In most of the southern states, more than a quarter of free households owned slaves, and in the top two, it was close to half of the households. Why do you want to whitewash history?
