I guess I'm old school.

I like mine free of diseases, infections, crabs/lice, fungi, open wounds, open sores, blood, another man's semen, and odor. (I think that 'bout covers it. Help me out fellas if I missed something)

Beyond that...as long as you have a healthy pH balance...you can trim it however you like it.
