Nearly two-thirds of independents disapprove of the president’s job performance...
For the first time, voters say by a 52 percent to 44 percent margin that Mr. Obama is not honest and trustworthy.
A new low, but definetly not the bottom.

A Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday proves beyond any doubt that the rolling ObamaCare debacle is exacting a toll on congressional Democrats that is every bit as devastating as the collapse in Barack Obama's poll numbers. Less than 45 days ago, Democrats enjoyed a 9 point lead in the generic congressional ballot, 43-34%. Today that number is tied at 39-39%.
The survey signals a dramatic reversal in the aftermath of the shutdown fight, forced by Republicans in an effort to defund the Affordable Care Act, when Democrats held a 9 percentage point (NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey) and 8 percentage point (CNN survey) lead over Republicans on the generic ballot.
