If you're interested in getting out of this business, the above organization is a VERY good start.
But if you're not, and this is my guess, what's wrong with staying in a shelter that isn't for wayward sex workers and getting your head together?
I would think that a week or two in a Dallas shelter might give you the peace that you need for some self reflection and whatever else you're looking for.
If there are abuse issues, then you might wish to think about how to work on those problems. Then often, solutions to other issues might be more quickly forthcoming.
BY THE WAY ... I'm not suggesting that you have any abuse issues because I just don't know. But out of control "problems" and issues generally have some base of cause.
Just my thoughts. If you have one foot in the street, call Salvation Army. Or call 211 for more information. Spend an afternoon, or two, on the phone with social services of different organizations. Make that effort.
Baby steps.
Give others some time to see a difference. Then ... you're on a good road and not this continual, and public, mess that you always seem to get yourself into.
And a final note, I wish you well. Your situation isn't completely unique but only you can work yourself out of this current hole that you find yourself in. And you can get out of it.
Just stop digging so much. Elevate yourself in your heart. Then, you'll know what to do.
Cheap advice, I know. But I can understand how others seem tired of hearing of your situation. Go forward and try to conquer your demons, whatever they may be.
And good luck!
Sincerely,
Elisabeth
