I completely agree with you on this. Public face pics of providers - or clients for that matter are not needed. Privately exchanged pictures is another matter. It is a matter of trust.
I am sorry, but I would not trust a provider I never saw and send her a face picture. On the other hand, I would never require one either. Other forms of screening are fine.
