Well, as another Mature woman who apparently caters to a "granny fetish" I've found that one can advertise on multiple boards and be successful just as easily as one can advertise on just 2 or 3 boards and be just as successful.
It all depends on your definition of success.
Between this and my other jobs I am what call "comfortable" and like Max I don't spend a lot of money promoting myself, I do use pics taken with my own camera and not a professional photographer. OK I did the pro shoot once and there was NO appreciable difference in the number of contacts I received.
I also don't need to travel very much at all nor do I need to provide incall every time I choose to work so I am not a slave to my chosen profession, I still make my own schedule and call my own shots.

When I first entered the business not so long ago (I was a fetish from the get go) I did join every board I came across, eventually I weeded out the non performing sites and sites that were IMHO just a hassle.
I have joined Slixa out of curiosity since some of my friends mentioned it to me and I'm still waiting to see if it has any effect.
I've never heard of ecrhobbyist or the other one you mentioned but at this stage of the game it's only my natural curiosity that would draw me to any new boards and not a desire to increase my earnings.
What works for some is not always the answer for everyone...

Pocahontas you seem to be well spoken and experienced at what you do. It's a shame you can't express yourself without thinly veiled insults at others because of your misconceptions about age.

For the record, ANY client that has seen me in person can attest that Mistress Pocahontas is just as fabulous if not even finer in person! Look Aunt Lucy I could careless who attempts to join in to try to save you. I'd rather have professional photos than some dingy, blurry, faded, dark, faceless camera photos with my face cut off because I've got something to hide, like my age lol. Don't start something you can't finish. As they say, if you can't take the heat then get the f*%# out of the kitchen. I can't believe that after almost 24 hours you are still on here ranting. It's really amazing how insecure some women can be. Like I already stated before, I've got a friend that is in the business that is about Max's age and she is quite successful; along with other ladies in their forties that do well. You people have lost your minds if you think that I'm gonna just let someone come on here and pick a fight with me and not defend myself. Do you think that I really care how my posts come across to you or whoever? I'm not here to score brownie points from anyone on this board. You will continue to see my posts whenever I feel like engaging in whatever discussion I'm interested in. The reactions of a bunch of weak, insecure cornballs does not move me. Did I say "LNK" you're a weak, insecure cornball? I can't help it if you are somewhat precarious. Secondly, you don't know me so who are you to evaluate my education level? Like I said before there are alot of insecure asses on this board and I still stand by it. If my so called "ad hominem" attacks do offend you then maybe you need to reevaluate yourself. As a black woman who frequents this board, I read a lot of inappropriate content geared towards us but I don't always comment because I have better things to do than to sit online all day and start arguments like your comrades. Max blatantly started an argument with me by suggesting that I was "catty" and indirectly throwing insults at me so I had to give her a taste of her own Geritol lol. The real reason why some of you feel the need to try and take up for the lady is because she is white and I am black. It's no secret. Max has no one else to blame for this conflict but herself due to her comments geared towards me. Yeah everyone does have the right to freedom of speech, but for some reason when it starts to hit home for a certain group it's viewed as inappropriate or insulting. Personally, I don't feel bad about anything that I've said to the old lady because she deserved every bit of it. Your posts as well as others that upheld her comments her seemed to come across as biased.
