Not that Backpage is the gold standard, but I've seen so many "last day in town" or "retiring" type ads there - all from providers I've never seen post before -

that I just wrote them all off as cops trying to set up a sting "hurry and rush, don't check references....".

Really made me suspicious.


If a provider was really stepping aside, I' think she'd cancel her #, stop her posts/website and contact a few favorite regulars for "would you like to come say goodbye".
