First, I already have said she should have stopped her apology after her explanation of her past traumatic experience as why she does not see black guys. But as I also said, everyone has a breaking point when they feel they have been unfairly tarred and feathered and maybe she reached hers.

Second, yeah, like nothing bad could ever happen to a woman in this line of work. Get real.

Third, as to why someone who had a traumatic experience may continue this line of work, perhaps they don't have any other good options to put a roof over their head, food in their stomach, etc? Where else are some of these women going to make what they do in an hour? They can work an hour or two at this and make more than they can working 40 hours flipping burgers or whatever. So they continue seeing guys they are comfortable with while taking reasonable steps to not be reminded of or repeat that traumatic experience.
