Ahhhh, those many wonderful meals at the San Jacinto Inn quickly quickly come to mind!
Floyd's (corner of I-45 and NASA Rd 1) serves up excellent seafood with large portions!

Not crazy at all. I have been eating fried shrimp there for years. In fact, I can not recall ever having tried their BBQ. Yes, the fried shrimp are that good! Another place with very good friend shrimp is Niko Nikos on Montrose, a few blocks north of Westheimer!
If you have a hankering for seafood while in Austin, try Quality Seafood Market on Airport Blvd. It is located a couple of miles west of I-35!

Floyd's is damn good. Try to get Floyd to tell you the story of how (he says) Tilman Fertitta fucked him and his partners (including Denis Wilson of Denis' Seafood . . . also good) out of the original Willie G's.

I was going to mention both of these. I would add Trulux on Westheimer.

LizardKing Yeeeeessss Tony Mandolas" has some of the best Shrimp Po Boys'! If you like Creole/Cajun seafood then BBs' Cajun cafe on Montrose is pretty amazing and they are open late night on the weekends. Oceanaire for the Oyster list alone, but the entrees are nothing to write home about. Ibiza on Louisiana, they have a dish called Trailer park Gumbo with a scoop of Potato Salad in it that is too die for. The Redfish,Trout, and Salmon are always perfectly prepared. Trulucks is a fav for me too.
Mmmmmm Dantons' is my go to for a damn good bowl of Gumbo and their Oyster Stew is so yummy! Does anyone know where to get the best Cioppino from Im on an eternal search. Whole Foods(when in season) and Farragos' on Montrose sorry to hijack but wanted to ask

Several great places
Fav in/around town... Goode Co. Seafood... 2 locations, one on Westpark one block west of Kirby. 2nd is on Katy Freeway around Kirkwood area. Their Seafood Empanadas are to die for, favorite is the Blackend Flounder with Seafood Etofee.
Good Company also has a Taqueria almost next door on the Corner of Kirby/Westpark... their Sat and Sun Morn Breakfasts are GREAT, heck of a menu... their Fajita's rocking too...
Trulucks rocks as well..
Christies.... A Classic
If you make it to the Kemah area, Like was said, stay away from the Boardwalk.. a rip off.. However, there is
Gillhoolies just up the road at 222 9th st in San Leon, it's a funky eclectic place with good food.. Priced right...
The Top Water Grill in San Leon, @ 815 Ave O.. the top water is on the water, great views, they have a Shrimp Enrochette that absolutely rocks... I dock and eat there all the time when fishing the upper bay..
Someone Mentioned the Monument Inn, at the Lynchburg Ferry Crossing... 4406 Independence Pkwy South, (formerly Battleground rd.) good view, good value.. good times... Bartender there is not stingy either...
