Sir, I'm in your camp. I have never asked for discounts or extras yet have received both. I guess the old cliche that "it never hurts to ask" could be applicable but it's been my experience that simply being a polite, respectful, repeat client will get you more discounts and extras than haggling will.

That's what some gents just can't seem to wrap their mind around.
