The "goodies" associated with Obamacare kicked in immediately. It allowed me to keep my son on my insurance. Most of the "taxes" associated with Obamacare kick in 2014. This was purposeful. Also my health insurance has gone up more under Obama's term than before Obamacare. I expect it to go up even further in 2014. In 2014 when he's no longer on my insurance plan, he'll have to purchase health insurance or face a fine or possibly imprisonment.

Obama has wanted a socialized health care system all along. Obamacare is just a way of phasing out private health care completely.
