All Matador has to do is repair the injury he did when posted untrue information about me. A simple retraction and apology and bygones will be bygones.

If he is going to make me take this to court, I might as well dream big and go for a big settlement to have more hobby money. Even it gets bounced out of court eventually, I will make him pay some billable hours to an attorney just for giggles.

It is easy enough to prove:

1) Screenshot of his post that was libelous

2) Subpoenaed registration information showing ENONONA was not indeed me and the wire fraud he accused me of was false.

3) The final step needed is a bit more pesky--I would have to prove malice on his part and illustrate damage.

How has anything said about "anonone" hurt your reputation? Are you planning to file suit in your real name or as "anonone?" You can't recover for damage to your reputation when the only thing that's been said is about your anonymous username on an escort review board!

Truth is you're just blowing smoke out your ass about filing a lawsuit because it costs money and you'd have to pay an attorney an hourly fee because none would ever touch this dog on a contingency. ECCIE isn't going to do anything (other than perhaps ban you again for threatening them with a lawsuit) and Matador isn't going to apologize to you and you're never going to file suit. Any public forum will do for the legal definition of libel. Not only does that also apply to an Escort Review Boards--there are actually several defamation suits that can be used as legal precedents over postings on sites just like ECCIE.

Apples and oranges. . .libelous statements should never be protected. Would you not have to be a hacker to gain access to this site once banned? At the very least it would be theft of services. . .either way, his comment was untrue and hurtful and those stand on their own once the registration information and other computer data was submitted as evidence. . .damage might be tough to prove, however as Shackleton pointed out.
